Surf and Swim
Nestled in the middle of Audubon Park, itself a beautiful and serene spot in the city, Surf and Swim is a premier water park in the Garland area. The park is most famous for its wave pool that means that visitors here can take part in a range of activities on the waves such as surfing or body boarding. There is also a water play area designed for younger visitors that is slightly more gentle, as well as a secluded cave area called Wally’s Cove and a party deck where you can relax in the sun.
At Surf and Swim, families can splash, float, and frolic through waves and beneath fountains in a colorful outdoor water park. Located inside Audubon Park, this family-oriented facility attracts visitors from all over Dallas-Fort Worth. After hours of active floating, families can recline beneath shady trees in the water park’s surrounding grass area or beneath broad umbrellas on the party deck. The on-site Chill and Grill Cafe will satisfy the hungriest appetites with burgers, hot dogs, and nachos for purchase. Regardless of age or swimming skills, Surf and Swim is a great way to beat the relentless Texas heat, Garland style! So, when you’re ready to ride the waves or just searching for the most quintessential beach-like experience, you know where to go. To ensure guest safety, Surf and Swim recommends all guests under 48″ tall wear a life jacket in the wave pool.
Located in scenic Audubon Park, Surf and Swim is a popular family waterpark. The wave pool is the main attraction, allowing guests to ride waves of varying sizes on provided floats. Wally’s Cove, a children’s water play area, and the party deck round out the facility for fun times all summer long! This family aquatics facility is operated by the Garland Parks & Recreation department. Surf & Swim offers visitors a large wave pool and a water activity pool for children 6 and under. The facility also has a retail shop, locker rentals, and food concession serving burgers, fries, drinks, nachos, and more. Additionally there are lounge chairs for relaxing, large grass lawns, and party deck. Surf & Swim offers birthday party packages and may also be rented out for private groups for up to 1,200 guests.
