The Richardson Farmers Market is held in the parking lot of the North Texas Automotive Museum and is a fabulous choice if you want to check out a local market in the area. The market is touted as a farmers market but there is also something of a flea market atmosphere depending on which vendors have come to sell their wares. With that in mind you can expect to find things that range from local produce and food items to vintage antiques and memorabilia from the region. The Richardson Farmers Market is home to those patrons who have been with us the longest. This Market is serving the community with market staples, including produce, meat, eggs, honey, breads, and jam. Come stroll through the Market on Saturday to sample the wares from local artisans.
Recognizing a deviation from traditional brick-and-mortar entrepreneurship and a growing appetite for local, handmade goods, they set out to develop a platform where an artisan can create and grow a profitable, thriving business while serving the community, cities, and commercial real estate interests. Since 2009, they have organized and supported over 60 public and private markets, while establishing partnerships with commercial real estate companies, incubating over 1200 small businesses, and providing an amenity for numerous cities and their residents. Through our online marketplace, Farmshop Market, they connect artisanal brands poised for expansion with consumers who have discerning taste.
The Richardson Farmer’s Market is part of a wider network of farmers’ markets established by the Four Seasons Markets group. This group gives entrepreneurs a platform to establish and grow their businesses while changing the way people learn about, buy, and consume food. Customers have a wide array of possible farmers, ranchers, and artisans – over 2,700 in total – with about 50 present at the site.The market is held at the Dal-Rich Towne Square every Saturday at 9am to 1pm. The complex is a favorite of the community for its dining, shopping, and family services facilities.The Four Seasons group operates 7 other markets around the State of Texas. Richardson Farms Farm Market is located on our main farm in White Marsh, MD. Our market has grown since our humble beginnings in the early 1930’s. They now offer fresh produce, a full greenhouse, never frozen poultry, homemade hot foods and deli, custom catering, and tons of local products! They have been able to make our market a “one stop shop” for your grocery needs.
